How ArtifactPilot works

  1. Choose a project folder or development drive.
  2. Run a scan using Recommended, Conservative, Comprehensive, or Custom mode.
  3. Review candidates, charts, risk labels, and paths.
  4. Select only the items you approve.
  5. Confirm the final preview before moving approved items to the Recycle Bin.

Safety basics

  • Scanning is read-only.
  • Nothing is selected by default.
  • Cleanup uses a final dry-run preview.
  • Normal cleanup moves items to Recycle Bin, not permanent deletion.
  • Protected folders, source-control folders, and sensitive files are blocked.
